While preparing for presentation for BarCamp on QR Codes, I suddenly realized that:
We witness the mobile revolution, the event of the same magnitude as the PC revolution 25 years ago.
Mobile devices become essential part of our lives, though we still use our desktops for “serious” job, the same way how in the past we seriously used mainframes and “had fun” with PC in convenience of our homes.
QR Codes, which can be considered as paper-based hyperlinks, may play in the mobile revolution the same role as the hyperlinks played in creation of WWW: from merely text linking to the new internet era.
I’d like to look at QR Code from three different perspectives: what is it for consumer, producer and developer.
